Hey, I’m Annie,

I’m an introvert who thrives on the excitement of starting a new project, even if finishing it means finding the motivation somewhere deep inside (spoiler: it’s usually hiding). When I’m not diving into a fresh idea, you’ll probably find me either desperately trying to finish one of my many half-started projects or cozied up by the fire with my cats and dogs...or working on one of those ideas my fiancé randomly came up with that somehow ends up as a best-seller. Go figure.

I get my inspo from wildflowers, nature, my pampered pets, and the little joys of life, like scoring the perfect thrift find or soaking up the sun with a coffee in hand. If you could peek inside my brain, you’d find a perfect storm of wildflowers, nostalgia, and "oops, I bought more art supplies."

After years in a corporate marketing and sales job that had me living out of a suitcase, I realized I wanted something different. Something mine. So, I took my love of creating, mixed it with my appreciation for flowers and the little things that make life sweet, and turned it into Bloomin' Loon Co.! Now, instead of sales meetings, I’m stitching, drawing, and bringing ideas to life—which, if you ask me, is a massive upgrade!

About Bloomin' Loon Co.

Bloomin' Loon Co. is what happens when a Minnesota girl who loves flowers and refuses to survive on sales commissions decides to chase a dream. The name Bloomin' Loon is a little nod to my roots: "bloomin'' because I’ve always had a soft spot for flowers, and "loon" to capture the spirit of the north and my home state, Minnesota.

At the end of the day, my hope is that Bloomin' Loon Co. makes you smile. Whether that’s because you found the perfect sticker that screams "you," or because my chaotic creative journey reminds you to embrace your own, I just want you to feel good about what you bring into your life. If you ever wanna chat about thrifting, cats, or the joy of starting hobbies you’ll eventually finish, I’m all ears!

The Goods

Everything I make is designed to bring a little happiness into your day. Whether it’s a nostalgic sticker that makes you say "OMG, this is so me", a bookmark that gets you excited to curl up with a book, or a wristlet that adds personality to your every day, I want my products to feel like tiny treasures—something you’re proud to own because it reflects you.

Most of my ideas come to me in the shower or on a run, and while I wish I had the foresight to plan ahead, I usually just dive right in and figure it out as I go. As the name Bloomin' Loon suggests, I love florals and being in nature (as long as it’s not -15 degrees! outside), and I’m all about making things that remind us to slow down, embrace hobbies, and enjoy the little things (because, really, when was the last time you actually did that?).

Sustainability is important to me, though I’ll admit it’s a work in progress. While it’s not the entire focus of my brand, I do my best to be mindful. All fabric-based products like embroidered sweatshirts, wristlets, and scrunchies are made from secondhand materials like vintage sheets, t-shirts, and pillowcases. Giving old things a new life is way more fun than letting them go to waste. It’s not much yet, but as my business grows, I’ll continue to improve!
